DB Moto Repairs - Race & Trackday Preparation

When you use your bike on the track, whether it is for the full-on heat of competing in a race series, or just for a bit of fun on the occasional trackday, meticulous preparation will always pay dividends. Time spent in the workshop can shave precious seconds off lap times.

With many years of experience in preparing bikes for customers, as well as my own race bikes, my customers keep returning season after season because they know that their bikes will receive careful attention to detail.

Thorough Preparation Makes for Enjoyable Track Time

Small changes to suspension brakes and engine set up can make a big difference to a bike when used on the circuit. From lock wiring a sump plug to a thorough going over including changes of wheels/tyres, brake compounds, gearing to suit and dyno runs to get the best possible performance, every bike that comes in for track preparation is treated with all the care that I would lavish on my own race bike.

Whether your bike is two stroke or four stroke, large or small, the aim is to maximise your enjoyment and safety. You can also be sure that the scrutineers will like what they see too, avoiding the frustration of last-minute changes or even worse, not being allowed to take part.
